How to make that TastyBurp
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Prepare the Baked Chicken:
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking to let the chicken brown.
-
While the chicken is baking, prepare the Sesame Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Set the sauce aside.
-
Steam the Green Beans:
- In a large pot or a steamer, steam the trimmed green beans for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp. You can also blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes and then shock them in ice water to preserve their vibrant green color.
-
In a separate skillet, prepare the garlic-infused olive oil for the green beans:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
-
Add the steamed green beans to the skillet with the garlic-infused olive oil. Toss the green beans to coat them in the flavorful oil. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
-
Serve:
- Plate the baked chicken and drizzle it with the Asian Sesame Sauce.
- Serve the garlic-infused green beans as a flavorful side dish alongside the chicken.
- Enjoy that TastyBurp!
Garnish with additional sesame seeds, green onions and lime wedges if desired. Enjoy your chef-quality baked chicken with Sesame Sauce and green beans!
